I don't get how people are still confused and also why Christine didn't understand because Ben explained it perfectly, but I'll try to explain it again There is no actual such thing as physical holo, it's just a light illusion, therefore holo cannot actually transfer. The holo paper is essentially working in the same way as a prism. The microscopic texture refracts the light, causing the surface to appear holo. The hardened chocolate is the same texture as the holo paper, so it can then refract the light like the holo paper does, or like a prism can to create a rainbow effect. The chocolate is still just chocolate before and after the process of hardening the cholate, the texture has just been modified.
Coming back to this because I broke my nail after washing dishes and I cried (it took me 3 months to grow out my nails and I had been biting my nails for the past 15 years)
